JAZ Foundation works with charitable organizations and institutions all around the world to address challenges in four key areas.
In developing countries, an estimated 14,000 children under the age of five die every day due to lack of basic healthcare. During the childhood stages of a human life, our immune system is still being developed which makes children very vulnerable to a number of diseases that will kill them. Diseases such as HIV/Aids in both children and adults go untreated and kill millions of people yearly. Our Global Healthcare sector aims to reduce the burden of infectious diseases and illnesses by delivering quality healthcare to developing countries. JAZ works with organizations that focus on creating new tools and resources, as well as delivering high-quality health products and services to impoverished communities on a global scale. We work with partners and medical professionals globally to deliver supplies such as basic healthcare, vaccines, medications, and diagnostics to impoverished countries.
GLOBAL HEALTHCARE
ACCESS TO EDUCATION
463 million children around the globe do not have access to the necessary education for them to survive and thrive in developing countries. These countries either do not have the financial resources, or as a result of poverty and marginalization, are unable to provide essential education. Our Global Education sector primarily focuses on ensuring that children are getting the essential education and everyone has access to technology (i.e. internet) that would allow them to build their social development, and the basic skills needed to improve their living conditions. We provide schooling materials and a curriculum adapted to the needs and abilities of different age groups so every child is benefiting regardless of age or gender. Through providing the necessary educational resources to developing countries, we hope that the children will leave school having acquired the basic skills needed to support the social and economic development of their country.
FOOD DONATIONS
Around the world, many developing countries are struggling with multiple forms of malnutrition. Hundreds of millions of people go chronically undernourished yearly. Our Food Donations sector works towards creating sustainable relationships that will save lives, and reducing food waste. JAZ works with global organizations to launch new food banks and nourish communities around the globe. Our food banks will acquire donated food from consumers, retail stores, restaurants, distributors, farms, manufacturers and make it available to those in need. Food banking is a proven solution for feeding undernourished communities, and working towards defeating world hunger.
HOMELESS OUTREACH
Around the Globe, over 150 million people are homeless and do not have access to adequate shelter. Our Homeless Outreach sector is designed to help provide homeless people with housing, establish supportive relationships, and give people advice and support. Our overall goal is to provide the homeless with the necessary services needed to help move them off the streets.
